Join us this Friday at Maggiano's to welcome Denys Scheiner, Senior Value Stream Manager at Lightera in Carrolton, Georgia.
With more than 18 years of international experience in the wire and optical cable industry, Denys Scheiner has held senior leadership positions across four countries, consistently delivering measurable operational and business results. He began his career in Brazil as a Process and R&D Engineer, developing innovative copper and optical cable solutions. As Rotarians, Service Above Self isn’t just our motto—it’s a call to action that we live out every single day in our community. Whether we are supporting local initiatives, investing in youth, or partnering on civic projects, we know that a strong community is built through hands-on involvement. We have a fantastic new opportunity to show our pride and keep Dunwoody shining by taking part in the upcoming #GreatDunwoodyCleanup.
Event Details at a Glance:

Books: As part of our commitment to literacy, each child at Kingley will receive a new book in December. You can help with labeling and/or distributing the books. Dates to be determined soon. [read more]

We have an opportunity to put Service Above Self into action by joining Tapestri for the 2026 Georgia Festival of Trees teardown partnership!
Tapestri is assembling a 25-person volunteer team for a high-energy, four-and-a-half-hour shift. They currently have eight volunteers and would welcome help from our Rotary Club of Dunwoody members to fill some of the remaining 17 spots. Contact Alison Norris if you can help - by email at callingdunwoodyhome@gmail.com or phone at 678-596-7695.
Volunteer details:

Our club has supported the USO for nearly 30 years - and the USO has supported our troops for the last 85 years.
