More than 20 members of the Dunwoody Family of Rotary are heading off to Sandestin this weekend to enjoy fun and fellowship at the District 6900 district conference. There's no regular Dunwoody meeting scheduled this week. Watch for more information about our "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" adventures in next week's bulletin.
We would like to thank our sponsors for the May 16 inaugural Dunwoody golf tournament benefiting the Georgia Alzheimer's Association The Longest Day program and our Dunwoody Charitable Fund. Join in thanking:
As of this week, we have sponsors for all 18 holes of the course. Thanks to: Ameris Bank; Mozley Finlason Loggins LLC; Stout Kaiser Attorneys at Law; Creative Financial Group; Magnolia Financial Management Services, Inc.; First Citizens Bank; Hotel Equities; Davis, Matthews & Quigley PC; Edward Jones; Respite Care Atlanta; Novo Cucina; Maintenance Concepts; Bob Koncerak (Rotary Club of Alpharetta); Kathy and Fred Brandt; Ken and Sherry Levy; Jim and Janet Glass; Lorri Christopher; Rick and Marilyn Woods.
YOU can still be a part of this event - as a Contributing ($250+) or Donating ($100+) Sponsor, or by volunteering to help at the tournament. Visit Home - FORE! The Memories (rcdgolftournament.com) to contribute. Contact Jennifer Shumway in advance of the tournament to volunteer.
Thanks so much to all of you who have already signed up to be part of this signature community event. While artists display their creations, we have a great opportunity to put the Rotary Club of Dunwoody on display - through our support for artist set-up and break-down and our booth on the busy Arts Festival trail through Dunwoody Village.
At this writing, most slots are filled but we can always use more volunteers. Contact Kathy Brandt at 404-797-0705 or by email at kgbrandt1@comcast.net
Editor's Note: I have signed up for this Zoom Webinar next Thursday and while I'm sure most of you received an email invite from our Rotary Zone 34, wanted to repeat the invite here.
Rotarians around the world, join Zones 33/34 for a thought-provoking series to #EmpowerGirlsNow.
