Committed to Making a Difference

In April 1984, 35 business leaders in the Atlanta area came together to put Dunwoody, Georgia on the Rotary International map. From the start, our mission has focused on making a difference in the local community and around the world. Our projects range from literacy to health, hunger, clean water, peace and conflict resolution, environmental protection, growing local economies.

We work hard and have fun - with a diverse membership that includes more than 70 professionals, small business owners, educators, entrepreneurs, public officials, consultants and retirees.

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody has a strong sense of family. We want to be there to help club members, families and friends to celebrate … birthdays, promotions, graduations, birth of new children or grandchildren, career successes and more. And, we want to be there to lend a helping hand and provide encouragement … in the event of illness, hard times or loss of a family member.

Dottie Toney leads our Caring Hands Committee; every Dunwoody Rotarian is an ex-officio member. Often a Rotarian in our club is aware of what is happening - and we count on our members to reach out to Dottie Toney and/or our Club President so we can act appropriately.
