ROTARY CLUB OFFridays, 7:15 am
|Immediate PP||Ardy Bastien|
|Public Image||Jackie Cuthbert|
Join us this Friday to welcome Lynn Deutsch, Mayor of Dunwoody and get an update on what's happening with our City.. You have two ways to join - in person at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter, 111 Perimeter Center West, Atlanta GA 30346, or via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86202979419
Lynn served as a Dunwoody City Council Member starting in 2011 and was elected Mayor in November 2019.
This weekend, more than 20 Dunwoody Rotarians will be working hard and having fun at the Dunwoody Arts Festival - helping artists with set-up starting Friday night (we have Friday and Saturday crews), taking a shift at the Dunwoody Rotary tent (booth #49) on Saturday or Sunday, and helping artists pack up Sunday at the end of the festival.
If you are signed up to help: Thank You!!! Through your volunteer effort, you are helping to make Dunwoody Rotary’s beneficial presence in the Dunwoody community known while helping the festival continue to be highly acclaimed as the “best” by artists and festival attendees alike. Thank you for being so generous with your precious weekend time. You should have received an email from the Festival and one from Kathy Brandt announcing a brief volunteer Zoom call for 7:00 pm on Thursday - and providing other information on the weekend. Contact Kathy Brandt if you have questions.
We still need a few more volunteers for our booth - see the list and timeslots in the full article (click more) and contact Jennifer Shumway if you can help. We'd like to have a least two people for each shift. [more]
Thanks everyone for your support to date. Looks like we are going to be full with regard to golfers so that is great. We are still looking for dinner sponsor for $2,500 but all other sponsors spots are committed!
Jennifer Shumway is looking to fill specific volunteer time-slots and duties at the tournament, so please let her know about your plans to volunteer this Friday . If you are not golfing or volunteering, you can still come to the after-event and bid in the silent auction after 3:00PM.
Here's a way to keep up with all that's happening with the Rotary Club of Dunwoody. If you would like to add an event - or add a story to the bulletin, send an email to Jackie Cuthbert at firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday evening.
