It's time to select the Best of Perimeter businesses and several Dunwoody Rotarians (and spouses) are up for selection. The Best of Perimeter is sponsored by Appen Media (owner of the Dunwoody Crier). In addition to club members' businesses, the nominees include other businesses that are friends of RCD. You may vote once each day per email address from now until March 15 - so please vote early and often! You may vote here: https://www.appenmedia.com/best_of_perimeter_2024/#//. Thank you for voting! The nomination and selection as Best of Perimeter means a lot to all of the local businesses involved.
Keep reading for a list of nominated businesses owned/managed by Dunwoody Rotarians (with apologies to anyone we missed!). [read more]
Join the Dunwoody Wine Tasting Fellowship at Ed and Judy Holliday's home on Friday, March 15 ... the price of entry is a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. You'll find Ed and Judy at 315 Cannady Ct, Atlanta, GA 30350. Start time is 6:00 pm.
We would like to thank the businesses, Rotarians and friends who already have stepped up to help us raise money for Alzheimer's and our Dunwoody Charitable Fund this year:
We have 17 of our 18 hole sponsors at $1,000 each - and will publish that list next week!
So what are the remaining sponsor opportunities?
We are looking for a Gold Sponsor at the $5,000 level, and sponsors for the Putting Contest and Hole-in-One Competition - at $2,500 each. And of course we wouldn't say no to additional Platinum, Gold or Silver Sponsors. You can also sign up as a Supporter at the $250 or $100 ... or in another dollar amount named by YOU! Anyone interested can visit FORE! The Memories – Rotary Club of Dunwoody Charity Golf Tournament (rcdgolftournament.com)
Last Sunday's presentation for Anchor Place Respite-Dunwoody attracted nearly 70 people - including these members of the Dunwoody family: Dick Game, Charlie and Anita Augello, George and Amy Stewart, Anne Glenn, Jennifer Shumway, Dottie and Griff Ransom, Hoshi and Baku Daruwalla, Bob and Andrea O'Brien, Ron and Louise Barden, and Kathy Brandt.
We are excited about the opportunities for us to get involved with Anchor Place Respite - Dunwoody, as volunteers and through our contributions. As we mentioned in Friday's club meeting, we are pursuing a grant through The Rotary Foundation to expand these important efforts in our community. Watch for lots more news!
