Join us this Friday, September 12 at Maggiano's to welcome Sherry Boston, DeKalb County District Attorney. She stands among the elite in the world of prosecution as one of the rare 1% of African American females currently serving as district attorney nationwide. Ms. Boston was first elected as the district attorney for DeKalb County in 2016. In her capacity, DA Boston oversees the prosecution of felony offenses filed in the Superior Court of DeKalb County and supervises a staff of more than 300 people including attorneys, investigators, paralegals, victim advocates, and administrative professionals." We are now in the second week of gathering bottles of whiskey and other collectible spirits for the raffle. It is very important that we reach our prize pool goal in order to market and sell tickets in October and November!
We have a bottle registry!
We’ve made a partnership deal with our local Dunwoody Beverage liquor store! They have a registered list of whiskeys at their shop. You’ll be able to go to Dunwoody Beverage, ask to see the list, and pick from what’s still left just like you would for a youth’s wedding! Save the receipt and the donation is fully tax deductible. St. Patrick's is seeking a part-time Activities Coordinator for Anchor Place Respite and would like our assistance in getting the word out/identifying possible candidates. You can view the position description at Lay Staff Openings - Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and direct anyone you might know to that site for more information about the position and how to apply.

Meghan Berry and Kathy Brandt would LOVE to know about them, and we've created an easy way to do that. Just use this link - https://forms.gle/4HtWfKogX93wjPhu5 - to nominate speakers, let us know why they may be a good fit

After
an incredibly successful debut, St. Patrick's Dunwoody Oktoberfest is back for
its second year, bringing festive flair and meaningful impact to the heart of
the city. Hosted at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church at 4755 North Peachtree
Road, directly across from Brook Run Park, this beloved fall event will be held
on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Once again, this free-to-attend, family-friendly festival will combine the fun of a traditional Oktoberfest celebration with the purpose of supporting St. Patrick's community ministries, including Malachi's Storehouse and Anchor Place Respite Dunwoody.
Enjoy authentic German cuisine, including bratwurst, roasted chicken, and soft pretzels, a lively beer hall and biergarten experience, live polka music and local entertainment, a dedicated KinderZone filled with carnival games, crafts, playground time, and prizes, a variety of local vendors with shopping and giveaways, and of course, our signature keepsake beer steins.
