More About Walt Carter

In his career, he has served in critical technology leadership roles for major companies like Fidelity, Gannett, BDM, TRW, and Homestar Financial, holding C-suite titles including COO, CIO, and CMO, and Chief Digital Officer. Today, he serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer at THG Advisors, the strategy division of Alba International Services. 

Titles aside, what truly drives Walt is unlocking human potential, helping people move beyond resistance, own their role in change, and achieve something remarkable together. “I’ve spent years building and refining a simple framework that helps leaders drive clarity, gain commitment, and align their people toward a shared vision. Whether I’m speaking to a room of five, 50 or 5,000, I give audiences practical tools and powerful stories that help them step up, lead with courage, and build cultures of resilience and results.”

More About John Vinyard

John has guided clients in the US, Europe, Middle East, India (25 clients), Asia, Africa and the Pacific Rim. He has written 17 books on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and guided 17 organizations to win the Baldrige Award and another 50+ companies to win similar awards worldwide. His books have been used as a text in five universities.  All books have guidance for leadership, and his 18^th book (co-authored with Walt Carter) is entirely on a systematic approach to leadership at all levels of an organization. 

John joined the Rotary Club of Dunwoody in January 2024. He serves on the Board of Directors of Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. He has a passion for community service, a jovial spirit, and he and his wife, JoAnn, are a terrific addition to the Rotary Club of Dunwoody family.
