Dunwoody Police Foundation

We donated $5000.00 to the Dunwoody Police Foundation to help provide training, equipment, aid to injured officers and bereaved families.  For example, this year our funds provided license place reader (Flock Safety) for police vehicles. Previously we enabled the purchase and training of a police dog, Although the police are the direct beneficiaries, the entire Dunwoody Community of over 51,000 benefits by having the service of well equipment law enforcement.

Several Dunwoody Rotarians have participated in the Citizen Dunwoody Police Academy which is a 3 hour 13-week course. Some of these volunteers will help monitor the CCTV that is projected in headquarters.
