GRSP Leadership Weekend
Gotta Love Our Leadership Weekend - Founded 25 Years Ago - Join Us!

This Valentine's Day Friday, 37 students from 22 countries around the world will arrive in Atlanta for their turn at the GRSP Leadership Weekend that the Rotary Club of Dunwoody started 25 years ago - under the leadership of Fred and Kathy Brandt!

We invite you to join us as you can for the weekend's festivities - starting Friday night at 6:00 pm with pizza and game night (let Jackie know if you plan to attend) and proceeding from there to packing meals for Rise Against Hunger on Saturday morning, a leadership "boot camp" workshop on Saturday afternoon, and Shark Tank Sunday morning. See the schedule attached.

We might put you to work helping to set up (starting about 11 am Friday), helping keep the snack tables filled up and coffee/water/tea available, or even participating in the Rise Against Hunger event - set up starts at 8:30 and meal packing from 10-12.

In our 25 years, it's been our mission to provide leadership skills and an inspiration to "make a difference in the world" - with a good dose of fun and fellowship for students and our Rotary family. We have offered this opportunity to more than 1500 students over the 25 years - painted dozens of murals in partnership with the Foundation for Hospital Art, fand packed more than 100,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. We have also helped funds driven by the students in their countries - from ideas developed during our weekend event.

Thanks to all who participate - and to the Rotary Clubs of Buckhead, Atlanta Metro, the Rotaract Club of Atlanta, and the Georgia Rotary Student Program Foundation for helping to make this happen! We are investing in young people who can make a difference in the future!
