Rotary Club of Marietta 95th Anniversary Video

This 7 minute video featuring images of Club history dating back to 1919 and going through the decades was produced by a team of our members to include Holly Walquist, President-Elect James Eubanks, Club Historians Buck Northcutt and Morgan Robertson, and Bruce Hamilton (spouse of member Holly Walquist). As the main film maker and video editor, Bruce Hamilton has been awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for his countless hours of pro bono work with Holly and others on this project.

Our video played on TV23 in Cobb County for everyone in the community to see throughout November and December. It was used to round the bottom and top hours of programs throughout the day. The video reached Cobb County through Comcast and Charter cable systems, Cobb and Atlanta Metro area through AT&T Uverse, and was accessible to the world through our live web stream. Per Chief Engineer David Tyler of Cobb County's TV23, the video had potential of reaching roughly 412,000 households in Cobb County from that last quarter's numbers of cable subscribers.

By mid-November 2014 there will also be a link to the video on www.mariettarotary.org that will be promoted with social media messaging in early-mid November to direct traffic there. Members on social media, especially including those involved in making the video and those featured on the video, will be tagged in the social media message featuring the video to further develop our social media following.
