Last Saturday, Dunwoody Rotarians joined with other clubs in the DeKalb Rotary Council to collect used medical equipment for Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC). The day started with breakfast, then the group split into teams to pick up and organize equipment. Dunwoody has been involved with this event for several years. This project has collected about $1,000,000 worth of durable medical equipment from local residents and businesses in the metro Atlanta area; that equipment is then refurbished and redistributed to those in need.
Thanks to Rick Woods for coordinating our effort - and to all of you who participated!
