Join us this Friday, October 13, when our own Past President Jennie Stipick talks about the power of The Rotary Foundation. Our club has witnessed this firsthand through our participation in many of the Foundation's programs. In 2015-16, we became a Million Dollar Club - and today our lifetime contributions have well exceeded that number.
Jennie has served in a variety of roles at the Rotary Club of Dunwoody - including Club President. She is a Past Chair of the DeKalb Rotary Council, a past Assistant Governor, and an active supporter of the Rotary Youth Exchange Program - and currently serves as our Foundation Chair.
In 2009, Jennie started her career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones, after a 23-year management career in the staffing industry. She earned a bachelor's degree in management from Louisiana State University. Jennie also earned her CFP® certification and currently teaches fundamentals of financial planning as an adjunct instructor at the University of Georgia in their evening Professional Planner program. Jennie also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation.
Jennie and husband Mike live in Dunwoody, and they have two grown children and a grandbaby in Ohio. Daughter Vickie is an Ohio Rotarian and was honored by her club as Rotarian of the Year.
